We were just outside downtown sorrento, which we loved for the peace and quiet, and the shuttle made getting into town easy. We also walked in twice, about 30 minutes along a beautiful back road with stunning views of Sorrento. The villa sits on a hill, around 10 minutes by shuttle from the center, with gorgeous views of the bay of Naples and vesuvius. Everything felt first class, from the made to order breakfasts to our three wonderful dinners. The food was freshly prepared by the onsite chef and served in a gorgeous private glass gazebo. The front desk, breakfast and dinner waiters, chef, and shuttle drivers were all warm, helpful, and engaging. We loved this place, one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in, and the whole team made our trip memorable.

All three of our rooms had terraces facing the ocean, and they were clean and well equipped. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Before we arrived, they had arranged our transfer service and cooking school, and the hotel shuttle to Sorrento was really convenient. One of the best hotels we stayed in during our two week trip through Italy.

The food was spectacular, and the cooking class with Ana was so much fun. We hadn’t expected gourmet dining, but since the place is part of a gourmet cooking school, we probably should have. With the incredible views and accommodating, friendly staff, we felt like we were staying in someone’s home. Maria, Franco, Rosa, and the rest felt like close friends. We came with our two sons, but my wife and I will probably return on our own. A hidden gem, and a wonderful part of our time in Sorrento. Grazie Mille!!!!!! Andy Trish Ben Alex

Breakfast was fresh and made to order, and the courtesy shuttle into Sorrento worked perfectly for us. Our hotel stay at Relais Palazzo del Barone was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, the place was very clean, and we had a wonderful view of Mt Vesuvius from our balcony. Even the drive up was stunning. Thanks for making our first Sorrento vacation so memorable. We hope to return one day!

We had a comfortable room that felt like home, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The team and family have put their hearts into this place, and everything was impeccable. The hotel is tucked away, about a 15 minute drive from the center of Sorrento, and has wonderful locally sourced food. It’s a lovely escape if you want a slower pace. The regular shuttle helped, and they were happy to organize anything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful few days.
