I stayed here on a road trip through Italy a few years back, and the location still ranks among the nicest I’ve experienced. The rooms have lovely attention to detail, and the view is spectacular. A really great place to stay. I hope I can come back.

I went on Monday, March 28 (Easter Monday). The food was indescribably horrible, and friends who stayed overnight had an even worse experience, I assure you. Service was poor, and the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. What a shame to treat a location like that so badly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. MHAAA. Antonio

The estate, once Torquato Tasso’s residence, has a working agriturismo alongside a castle that’s now completely abandoned. The views of Capri and the Sorrento Peninsula are splendid, but the site is currently used only as an agriturismo. There’s enormous potential, though it seems the restricted area prevents the estate from being turned into a hotel. A real shame!
