Agriturismo La Colombaia

La Colombaia looks almost too perfect to be real. The location is great, but it was all the little details that kept me staring, even when I saw them with my own eyes. It’s pure Tuscany perfection 🤩 The team gets 10/10!

A lovely rural escape. The hosts are warm and accommodating, and make sure you have a good stay.

A highlight of the estate was its pool, beautifully landscaped and looking out over the Tuscan countryside. We loved watching the sunset there. Massa Marittima is just a few minutes away and is a must-see, welcoming, authentic, and very Tuscan. We also tried the estate’s wines and honey, both delicious enough that we bought some to take home. My sister and my dog were completely at ease, and I would have stayed longer. The whole property is very pet-friendly, which is a huge plus. As someone who works in the industry and runs my own business, I really appreciate the care and quality here. La Colombaia captures the Tuscan way of life beautifully. We rented one of the three newly renovated apartments, the one with its own little garden, which made a lovely retreat. There are also charming hotel rooms that keep the house’s authentic character. The furnishings are stylish and carefully chosen down to the smallest detail, and everything was spotless. Arianna and Alice, the two sisters who run the place, clearly put a lot of passion into it. The whole staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast was another treat, all fresh and homemade: delicious cakes, freshly squeezed juices, and produce grown on the property.

They really care about using organic ingredients, and even bake fresh bread on site for breakfast. You have to try it :) We’ll definitely come back. The old building has been beautifully renovated, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The meals they cook four times a week are sensational. Dogs are very welcome, drinks are always available, and the pool is fantastic.
