We only stayed one night, but the apartment was clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The pool was lovely, and the countryside setting was wonderfully peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay, and the couple who live there and look after guests deserve a big compliment. They're kind and always available. The house has a lovely feel, and it must have been a luxury home once, but now some details are sadly neglected. None of the four bedrooms had comfortable beds, and only two had air conditioning. The shower heads in all three bathrooms were clogged with limescale, so we cleaned them ourselves, and the kitchen sink leaked. The windows didn't close properly either. The large villa sits among the woods, with loungers under the pine trees beside a shared pool. There are only a few apartments, maybe four or five, so the pool was almost always free. We also enjoyed several easy walking trails. It's a beautiful place for anyone who likes solitude and doesn't mind being some distance from the sea, about 20 km from Torre Mozza.

If quiet is what you're after, this place is ideal. I stayed one night before heading to the beach at Follonica. The owner was very kind, the setting and atmosphere were excellent, and the small pool was spotless and refreshing. Beautiful Massa Marittima is just a five-minute drive away.

We spent two weeks here in August with our four-legged friend, who loved the apartment garden and had lots of room to walk. The pool was clean and well cared for, a nice option on days we didn't want to go to the nearby beaches. It's a good base in the green Maremma, close to Follonica's beaches and other things you might need. We loved getting away from the city noise and relaxing to the sound of cicadas, though you'll need a car to get around. The apartment matched its description, but it was a little dirty when we arrived. Mr. Angelo looked after whatever we needed and was genuinely kind, helpful and always available. I highly recommend the property.
