After spending the day outdoors, it was lovely to come back to somewhere so calm and relaxing. The hotel is close to beautiful cycling trails, which made each day an adventure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole stay felt peaceful and enjoyable.

We had a really good stay, and we'll be back. The breakfast was excellent, generous, and had everything you could need. Some of the hotel has been fully renovated, with soundproofed rooms, very comfortable beds, and lots of space. The rest is being renovated now. It's a 3-star hotel that could pass for a 4-star. It's closed from late October until early April.

The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the center. Breakfast was average, though for a 3-star hotel the quality was very good. I was disappointed by the extremely cold welcome. Being told, “The room is over there at the bottom of the stairs on the left,” with no explanation of the place or surroundings, is hard to understand at any hotel, whether 1 or 5 stars. The property has a lot of potential, but upkeep is lacking. The pool is quiet, very basic, and untidy.
