Hotel Massa Vecchia

I keep coming back with different groups because the riding here is so good. As a Canadian living in Europe, I’m always looking for great routes, and this bike hotel has become my favorite. It feels like an experience, not just a place to stay.

The in-house repair shop is a real help if your bike gives you trouble. Ask for mister Jumba, he got it sorted right away. A great place for downhill bikers to stay, eat, and rest. 👍👀👌

We did manage to find a solution to everything, and even added another night in the parking area, but sorting things out took extra effort for everyone. The location is great and the staff are kind, though the whole operation felt a bit chaotic. We had trouble with the booking first: camping was full, and when we asked ahead about staying one night in the parking area, we were told it wasn’t possible. Then we arrived and saw lots of camper vans spending the night there. Prices were confusing too. We were several families, and nearly every family paid a different amount. Some children were charged and others weren’t, even though they were the same age. A family without children seemed to be charged even more, then given a discount. A few days after leaving, we got an email saying we had an unpaid lunch bill, even though we never ate there.

We stayed with our camper and had a really nice time at your beautiful place. The service was kind, the bikes were good, and the prices were reasonable. Thanks, and I hope to come back soon. Keep it up!
