It has a modest, decent 70s feel, like walking into your mother or grandmother's home. Don't come expecting luxury. We slept well, and Ricardo was very kind and on hand. He made us a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. It also works for vegetarians and vegans, and for people who care about the environment.

I've stayed in several B&Bs in Italy, and this was easily my favorite. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was generous and beautifully done. Our room was clean, the bed was soft, the lavender soap and shampoo were lovely, and the shower was hot. There are lots of good restaurants within a 15-minute walk, and it's easy to get to the beach town or Massa city center. I can't forget the sweet dog who waited patiently for a pet.

Riccardo and his best friend Theo made our stay in Massa wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and clearly made with love. A B&B you really should stay at. Thanks so much for everything.
