B&B Il Viaggiatore

We stayed just one night and had a good visit. The place and rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, breakfast had a reasonable amount of variety, and the price was good.

The shower seal was the one snag, since water leaked out while I was showering, though it seemed fixable. Apart from that, everything was lovely. Based on our other stays, we hadn't expected such modern, comfortable rooms with all the amenities you might need. Impeccably clean.

I don't usually like leaving a negative review, but I feel I have to this time. No one greeted us; we just got a text. I had requested a crib, which was included in the price because I have a one-year-old, but nobody confirmed anything. We assumed it would be there, then found it wasn't in the room. I texted the number that had contacted me and got no reply. While we were at breakfast, the owner went to clean the room next door. When we came back upstairs, the blankets were draped over the stairwell. The bathroom had mold, and the toilet seat was broken. There was nowhere to hang our beach towels to dry, so we managed as best we could. The garden is very pretty and pleasant in the evening, though, and even with our room on the street we didn't hear noise at night. Breakfast wasn't abundant but was fine. The coffee and cappuccino could be better.

We found a lovely attic room after checking ourselves in with the code sent that morning. It was small, but had all we needed: an open wardrobe, TV, towels, toiletries, a desk, kettle, cups, and several teas. The bathroom was excellent, with a big shower and hairdryer. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully furnished. Breakfast was good, checkout was quick, and the staff were very friendly. I'd book here again if I had the chance to return to Marina di Massa.
