The house itself is stylish and lovely, with several balconies where we could sit outside or have breakfast while enjoying the view. From the hill, around 150 metres up, you can see the sea about 6 to 7 km away. The view inside is just as splendid and relaxing, and gave us that holiday feeling right away. The owners were friendly and discreet, and the pool, though not huge, was plenty for us. The bedrooms have air conditioning, which is a real help on hot summer nights. I’d highly recommend it for a family break or a romantic stay for two.

Mariangla welcomed us so warmly, and the hosts were sincere, kind, and loving. The place felt like a fairy tale. We spent two nights in spacious, homey accommodation, with lovely rooms full of fine art and Persian rugs. Each morning brought an amazing homemade breakfast, and the hillside views were beautiful. We’d recommend it to anyone after the beauty and dreamlike feel of the Tuscan countryside.

It’s such a peaceful, private villa, a lovely escape from the busy world. The sunset view is especially breathtaking, and having a pool adds a luxurious touch that makes the stay memorable.
