Residence Club Azzurro

The pool is good, and there’s a beach with a small bar about five minutes from the residence. The price is fair, though you get what you pay for. The rooms have no couch, and the TV looks like it’s 20 years old. Everything else is average.

The location is handy, between Porto San Giorgio, San Benedetto del Tronto, and Grottammare. We had a good time, and the staff worked hard to keep the activities running smoothly. Still, the residence seems neglected and underappreciated. It would take four times as many staff to keep everything properly maintained, even though the one-bedroom apartments are clean and well equipped.

It looked lovely in the photos, but the reality was a nightmare. The residence was dirty and neglected, with steep, dangerous stairs leading to both the pool and the sea. The rooms also had no air conditioning. We left a day earlier than planned. Never again!

The pool was ridiculously clean, but you had to wear a swimming cap to use it, and they sold them for 4 euros. The entertainment, bar, and reception areas were completely empty. My advice to the owner: don’t make angry customers take it out on the employees. You should change jobs. The residence might have been stunning in 1985. The apartment was microscopic, the bathroom filthy, and there was no A/C, so the rooms were stifling hot. And the mosquitoes seemed to be the property's real owners.
