It’s a little outside Matelica village, quiet and quite isolated. My room was large, and the bathroom was even bigger. The heating worked well, which matters in the harsh winter there, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong and steady. The furnishings aren’t up to date, but they suit the country setting. Breakfast included homemade cakes and cookies, bread, jams, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice, milk, and coffee.

We had a perfect stay in a comfortable mini apartment and were given a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and jams.

The kids had a great time, with room to play indoors and outside among the farm animals, including a wild boar, and there’s a soccer field too. Matelica is an easy walk, while Frasassi and Fabriano are nearby by car. We came for New Year’s Eve as four families with seven children and had a wonderful stay. The house was warm despite the freezing weather, decorated for Christmas, and had clean rooms with private bathrooms plus roomy shared spaces. The kitchen was well equipped, and the owner even supplied a slicer and a bigger pot for us. Lorenzo was quick to reply by email, and his father gave us a very kind welcome. He brought his wife’s homemade cakes each day, and they were delicious. Thanks again, we’d love to come back.

The family made us feel so welcome, and the pets were a delight 💕. We loved the big, clear pool, the tasty cakes, and the delicious wine!!! We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY 🤩 I’d definitely recommend it!
