The place is in a great spot, near the sights but far enough from the nightlife noise to get a peaceful night's sleep. You can see the whole city from the window. The rooms feel new, unusual and welcoming, with a homey feel; management is good, and the staff are friendly and ready to help.

We found it comfortable, clean and really pleasant, with Matera's sights close by. The woman who looked after us was friendly and helpful too. We'd happily stay here again if we come back to Matera.

It's quiet here, and the location, cleanliness and comfort are all excellent. Having a kitchen in the room is handy. The place is only a few meters from the center, on Via Casalnuovo.
