The apartment worked really well for us and our small child. We were there for two nights, and the owner was lovely. It’s spacious, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning and a bed and pillows that were actually comfortable. There’s a microwave, coffee machine, and what you need for breakfast, plus fresh baked goods left outside the front door from 7:00 AM. The owners also have a pizzeria/restaurant downstairs, handy if you don’t feel like going out for dinner.

We had a great two-night stay during Ferragosto week. The apartment stayed cool despite the heat, and everything was really clean and worked well. Giuseppe left fresh pastries on the table outside our door each morning, on top of the breakfast things in the fridge and on the counter. We ate at the owners’ pizzeria/restaurant downstairs on our first night. It’s a 10-minute drive from the center, which suited us since we wanted to see both the Sassi and nearby villages.

We drove and parked on the street. The apartment itself was a pleasant surprise, really large, modern, and well equipped, with a fridge, coffee maker, and infusions.

Free parking is right outside, and the restaurant-pizzeria downstairs, run by the owners, is good value. The property is lovely, about a five-minute drive from the Sassi. The rooms are very spacious, bright thanks to the surrounding terraces, and spotlessly clean.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming during our weekend stay. The rooms are clean and roomy, almost the size of an apartment, and the property has all the comforts you need. It’s just a short drive from Matera’s center. The owners also run a restaurant and pizzeria where the food is delicious and very well priced. Thanks for having us, we’d happily come back.
