L'alloro Casa Vacanza

We’ll definitely come back to this quiet, well-located B&B for another visit to Matera’s sights. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Pietro was welcoming and accommodating, and shared lots of helpful tips. Thanks, Pietro. Best wishes from Tamara, Gian, Franco, and Mirco.

L'Alloro is beautifully kept and has everything you need, with thoughtful touches like a first-aid kit in the bathroom and ironed sheets. It was impeccably clean, too. It’s just a few minutes from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where you’ll find the entrance to the palombaro lungo. It was my third time in Matera, and I hadn’t expected to be surprised all over again like I was when I stayed in the sassi. The owner was very helpful and reachable by phone whenever we needed anything. I’ll recommend it to anyone coming to this lovely city!

Pietro was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. We stayed at L'Alloro, which is clean, well equipped, and, most importantly, has parking on site. Its location is ideal for visiting the Sassi. Matera was well worth seeing, and we’ll be back.

Pietro and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful. Their apartment was welcoming, clean, and had everything we needed. It’s only minutes from Sasso Barisano. We highly recommend staying here.
