The room was really big, the bed comfortable, and the service great. Prices were amazing for everything included with the room. A great hotel in Matera.

The beds were very comfortable, and the place was lovingly furnished and centrally located. But it was in a basement, felt damp, and wasn’t very clean: there was hair behind the sink and dust in the corners and by the shelves. The street was also far too noisy. Getting in was more complicated than it should have been. We didn’t get the entry code and full instructions until two hours after we arrived, even though we’d already received details from the cleaning staff. I think we should have had that information in advance. We were also asked to send photos of our IDs over WhatsApp, which raises data privacy concerns. We booked through Booking.com, and this wasn’t clear from the information there. For three people, we got five croissants for breakfast. There was also cereal, milk, Nutella, coffee, jam, mineral water, a mini carton of juice, rusks, and chips. The stay was acceptable overall.

We had a great family stay here. The historic center of Matera is just a few steps away, and the value for money was excellent. The property was spotless and had every comfort. The breakfast table was already set when we arrived, with plenty to choose from. There were fresh croissants each morning, plus Nutella, jam, coffee, and more. The fridge had water and milk, too. I highly recommend it.

We spent four days at this property and everything was excellent. The location is very central, it was spotlessly clean, and the attention to guests was outstanding. Highly recommended.
