We were right by the historic area, and having parking directly out front was a real bonus. The hosts were excellent and thoughtful about the details. Everything was great, and I recommend staying here.

The room was lovely and carefully looked after, and the place has a charming cave-like feel. It’s only a few steps from the center. The lady who welcomed us was so kind and hospitable that we felt at home. I’d recommend it to anyone!

I wish I could give more than five stars. Everything was wonderful, really, and the people who welcomed us were so kind. They even had fresh croissants and focaccia for us in the morning. Highly recommended.

Nicola and Nunzia really look after their guests, always courteous and ready to help. Room 1, which we booked, was comfortable and made for complete relaxation, with thoughtful details, chromotherapy, a big hydromassage tub, and a sensory shower. It had everything we needed for a vacation in Matera. Recinto Antico Sweet Rooms is a must. I’d give it five stars without waiting until checkout. Hats off!
