The house is right in the center, and though some of the streets are narrow enough that you may need to maneuver, it was easy to find free parking nearby. There are pizzerias, restaurants, and bars close by serving typical Salento dishes. The house is air conditioned, which was a relief during our five exceptionally hot days, with one day reaching 45 degrees. We were comfortable, and the location made it easy to visit different seaside destinations. One thing I didn't love was having the beds on a mezzanine. Getting up at night means going down and back up the stairs. Since the beds are higher up, the air conditioning doesn't work as well there and it gets a bit warmer.

Simona and the owner were really helpful, and everything else was fine. The place matched the photos and made a good base for sightseeing and going to the beach. We spent our vacation here. It would be even better if changing towels were included in the price.
