The two bedroom apartment was okay, but felt a bit old. There was only one AC unit in the kitchen and hallway, so we couldn't close the bedroom doors at night because of the heat, leaving no real private space. The kitchen was almost completely empty: maybe two plates, three glasses, a few pieces of cutlery, and nothing else. No sponge, washing liquid, wine glasses, sharp knives, grater, pots, bowls, microwave, kettle, or oven. The cabinets and shelves were bare. It did have a fridge with a small freezer and a gas stove. Despite all the nature around, we had no trouble with insects or ants inside, and every window had a net. We didn't use the balcony because the floor was quite dirty. There was also a terrace outside with plastic table and chairs. The person in charge spoke little English. There was plenty of parking and two pools.

The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was a decent size with a bidet. The houses sit among olive trees, with several shady spots to sit between them. There's also a small outdoor pool, which we didn't use. The apartment kitchen was missing quite a few things, including wine glasses, a sharp knife, grater, sponge, washing liquid, and kitchen towels. The owners don't speak English, so keep that in mind. Two cats occupied the shared terrace and could be annoying. At night, barking dogs from around the village made a lot of noise, so we needed earplugs every night. The entrance is very steep, so take care driving in or out, since both the entrance and exit meet the main road.

The olive grove setting and lovely pool give this place a lot of promise. My room, though, felt small and dated, and breakfast wasn't included. Even the vending machine was out of order, and nobody offered us a bottle of water. That bare-bones welcome left a bad impression. It seems like a few small changes could make the stay much better.
