Madonna Incoronata

We ended up cutting our vacation short. We were picked up by bus, which saved us a roughly 6 km walk because check-in was at a different address. The room was acceptable, but no more than that, and the bathroom had a bad smell all the time. The amenities didn't match the price. There weren't even basics like salt for cooking, and the dishes weren't clean. We knew there were no longer catering options, but having that repeated to us when we arrived was unpleasant. We've had good experiences with agriturismos before, so I'm not sure what the connection is here. Maybe it's the old olive press in what used to be a communal area, or the ants in the room. There's probably a reason the bathroom facilities aren't shown in the photos.

A peaceful spot close to Mattinata's main street, with cicadas and a lovely evening breeze. It's also just a minute from the main roads to the Gargano beaches and local area. The rooms were welcoming, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, and Antonio was extremely helpful. The internet and phone signal were a bit troublesome, though that was beyond the property's control.

The apartment was practical and clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful, always willing to assist. WiFi worked well inside, and there was 3G outside. The property is beautiful and well placed for the sea and excursions. We had a fantastic stay and will miss it a lot.

We stayed for a week and hated to leave. It's a beautiful place, with friendly and helpful staff. If you love nature and want a quiet oasis, this is just right.
