The rooms are modestly furnished rather than high-end, though they’re adequate, and the kitchen has everything you need. The showers can clog, and a few extra touches would make a real difference to the quality. The grounds are pleasant, with a lovely pool and activities like billiards and ping pong. The view is spectacular, and the location is convenient for exploring the area and the Gargano Peninsula. It’s worth considering what kind of accommodation you’re looking for before choosing.

We only stayed for one night, and it was nice that dogs are allowed. Outside, the villa is very pretty, with lots of greenery and enough room for a dog to play. Inside, though, it felt very dated, and the spaces seemed poorly maintained to me. For the price, I expected basics like shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. You also need to bring your own linens, and amenities such as air conditioning cost extra. The saltwater pool is lovely and free for villa guests. The green space around the villas is beautiful, but the property could make better use of it. There’s a lot that could be improved.

The apartments could be much cleaner. Our two-room unit had no window in one of its rooms, and the bedroom and bathroom doors were noisy folding plastic ones that offered no real privacy. The location is excellent, though, with a beautiful setting in the Gargano and some of the best beaches just a few kilometers away.

A breathtaking view, greenery, crickets, and a quiet, slow pace make this a place where it’s easy to relax. Mattinata center is a five-minute drive away. We arrived late and were welcomed warmly. Each little lane has only five or six apartments, and ours had a small kitchen and a lovely private outdoor space, with everything we needed for a great week. When we had an issue with the shower, the manager and his adorable mother fixed it right away. There’s a pool, deckchairs, billiards, foosball, and a washing machine. Many thanks.
