The location is central, but parking isn't available, so you have to leave the car near the port. The rooms are small and cramped, with a tiny, uncomfortable bathroom. Those things would be manageable if the rooms weren't right by the building entrance in a busy area, with windows facing a restaurant that stays open late and makes a deafening racket. Sleep doesn't start until 3:00 AM, then ends at 8:00 AM when check-in starts and the cleaning lady arrives. Not relaxing at all. I'd recommend it for the location only.

The central location is the only good thing about this B&B. When we arrived, nobody seemed to know we were coming, so we had to wait to get into the room and for someone competent to show up. Our room was on the ground floor facing the street, and we couldn't open the windows because people were walking right past them. The shower and sink were clogged, and the towels weren't changed until after three days. One afternoon, while I was showering, the owner knocked to ask for payment at 8 pm. I wasn't presentable, so I asked where I could find him, then spoke to him after my shower. I told him I could pay at the start or end of the stay, but he shouldn't knock like that, as if we were thieves. I absolutely won't repeat this experience.

The room was roomy enough for two, and I didn’t hear the late-night restaurant noise mentioned in some other reviews. The B&B is well placed in the city center, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast at the café next door was good, and the service matched what I expected. I’d recommend it.

The owners were kind and helpful, and the location is ideal for seeing Mazara. It was definitely noisy, though, especially in the ground-floor rooms. I’d swap the energy-saving bulbs for cool white ones, since the current light makes the room feel like a “death chamber.”
