I did run into some internet connection trouble, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner and the woman managing the property were both very kind and helpful, and the southeast-facing outdoor seating got lots of sun.

We came back in 2020 after three years and found the place just as clean and nice, with that same perfect location. On our 2017 visit, we’d found it ideal for exploring western Sicily, with the beach visible from the terrace and easy to reach on foot. The rooms had what we needed for a few weeks, and they kindly provided a cot for our child.

The sunny terrace was where we’d sit with our espressos each morning, and having a kitchen with a fridge, stove, and espresso machine made it easy to prepare breakfast ourselves. We stayed for a week while visiting Sicily and found the apartment bright, cosy, and spacious enough for a couple with a small child. It was spotless when we arrived and cleaned every morning. The seaside was a short walk away, the city center just a few minutes by car, and local food shops and main roads were easy to get to. We had a great stay.
