The staff really helped us out when the taxi we thought we’d booked to the airport never showed. They arranged another one at very short notice, and were helpful with all our questions. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Belvedere, with an amazing view from the room and a great beach. There’s an arrangement with one of the beach lidos for sunbeds, though it’s only available in high season, so we couldn’t use it. Breakfast had loads of choice, although coffee service could be a bit slow. We also ate dinner at the restaurant a couple of evenings and thought the food was really good.

The restaurant and bar had great food, drinks, and atmosphere, and the sea view was stunning. Our stay at Hotel Belvedere Salento was fantastic. The hotel’s modern facilities made it very comfortable, and the staff were warm, professional, and always made us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade, which made the trip even more memorable. Highly recommended!

The staff were the best part for me: friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. I spent a week at hotel Belvedere and had a completely positive experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and very nice, and the breakfast spread was plentiful with impeccable service. I only wish there had been a kettle and some tea bags in the room.

The only sour note was the people working at the "la Sorgente" beach. They were unfriendly and seemed not to care, though they don’t work at the hotel. It’s the beach you can book through reception. We really enjoyed our three nights at this amazing hotel. The staff were always kind, the room was clean, and the shower was comfortable. The room itself was a bit small, so choose the double room if you want more space. The sea view was great, the restaurant was the best of the ones we tried in the city, and breakfast was nice too. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The pool didn’t seem safe to me, with power plugs right beside it, and the lobby toilet wasn’t nice. The hotel also felt short of a four-star standard. Rooms are dated and not soundproof, and the hotel is on a busy street full of bars. There were fireworks at 1 a.m. from the bar directly opposite, which wasn’t acceptable. Breakfast was average, and running out of baguettes at 9 a.m. when breakfast goes until 10 is not okay.
