Masseria Borgo Sentinella

The room we were first given was a long way from what the “Superior Rooms” photos showed. I know rooms won't all look identical, but this one was very different. The bed faced a plain white wall with no TV, even though the description said there would be one. The photos also showed a fireplace, which our room didn't have. In my opinion, the room descriptions and pictures need to represent what guests actually get. This felt unacceptable and shady.

The welcome from the team was excellent, and the Masseria has real charm and a wonderfully relaxed feel. Our room was very spacious. The big downside was the waiter at the pool bar, the one with glasses. He was unpleasant, kept looking at his phone and was awkward.

Minimalist boutique hotel style, so if you like that kind of architecture, it's a must. Even if it's not usually your thing, I'd still say stay here 😉 The staff were friendly and professional, and it's a great place to slow down and enjoy some quiet time. You deserve it 😎

I stayed here with my two teenagers. Gorgeous place, spacious rooms, a cool pool and really friendly staff. They're adding a sauna, spa and gym in 2026, so stay tuned.
