The farm is great, with cows, chickens, lots of sheep, and two dogs, and the owners are so lovely and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are high quality, with comfortable beds, good AC even when it was about 40 degrees outside, and decent showers. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the region.

Maria’s cooking was a highlight, with plenty of surprises from breakfast through dinner. The farmhouse is in a great spot near some of the most beautiful beaches, and the rooms were more than clean and very well equipped. Service was excellent too. We stayed from August 17th to 25th with our daughters and two other families, and had a fantastic holiday in beautiful Salento. Maria and Vincenzo were so genuine and kind, and made us feel at home right from day one. It was lovely meeting them and chatting together. The place is clean and well cared for, with lots of animals we grew attached to. We can only recommend it. It was such a shame to have to go home!

We loved how quiet and relaxed dinner felt, away from the chaos of town, and the owners made us feel at home with their stories, laughter, and warmth. The fresh ingredients and traditional recipes at Masseria Don Egidio show a real passion for the land and its food, and every dish has that comforting home-cooked touch. Dinner was delicious, with home-cooked traditional food that made us feel thoroughly spoiled. Breakfast was just as lovely, with homemade cakes, delicious Italian coffee, and everything we could want. The rooms are simple and spacious but have all the essentials, and there was fresh fruit from the garden and water in the fridge. Maria and Vicenzo were such lovely hosts, and the beautiful grounds are a real oasis where you just want to linger. I highly recommend this agriturismo. It’s only a few kilometers from the beach, and you can tell it’s run with heart ❤️

We had a different breakfast each day, with local pastries Maria made fresh every morning, and the warm ricotta was excellent. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained, with mosquito nets and air conditioning. There’s a large green space where children can play safely or you can relax. It’s also a strategic base for exploring all of Salento.
