Relais Borgo Segine

Teo was a wonderful host, taking care of every detail with warmth, and Ilenia's thoughtful, caring gestures made us feel like family. Grazia's food was incredible, full of fresh local flavors, and Mario's kindness made the stay even more special. Our kids loved running around in the safe, fun setting. My family and I had an unforgettable time at Relais Borgo Segine in Lecce. It's a real gem in Puglia, and we can't recommend it enough. Greetings from our Spanish-Mauritian family!

Teodoro's garden tour was one of our favorite parts, and he was incredibly kind, making sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. Mario, the owner, has a passion for birds and keeps many exotic species in the garden among the unusual trees and plants. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool and lush garden. We spent three nights at Relais Borgo Segine in June with my girlfriend, and it was just the calm, welcoming base we wanted for exploring the region. We chose the welcome dinner on arrival, and it was a delicious feast made with ingredients from the garden. We highly recommend it.

We planned to stay a couple of days at Borgo Segine but ended up spending a week and feeling right at home. The owners and staff were lovely, the food was great, and the hotel itself is beautiful. It's also well placed for nearby towns and beaches. Highly recommend it!

The food was divine, especially the fresh bread baked each day, garden fruit and vegetables, and homemade treats at breakfast. Lecce, Otranto and the Adriatic beaches were easy to reach by car, and it was lovely to return to the quiet of Relais Borgo Segine, enjoy local vino on the balcony and look at the stars without light pollution. Mario, Teo and the staff showed real Salento hospitality and made a real effort to ensure guests enjoyed both the property and Puglia. I stayed for a week and found the place even more stunning than the photos suggest. In the countryside, it's peaceful and beautiful, with fruit and olive trees, organic gardens, places to sit by the pool, see the animals, or read among the greenery. The rooms have lovely Italian antiques, modern bathrooms and a balcony on each side, so there was a nice breeze. There's air conditioning too. It was a restorative stay, and I hope to come back.
