Villa La Cisterna

Davide made us feel welcome, and the garden was nicely kept, with plenty of greenery around. It’s a peaceful spot in San Foca, between the countryside and the sea. Our room was clean and smelled fresh, parking was easy, and pets are welcome too.

We had a relaxing stay as a couple in a studio with a kitchen, double bed, bathroom and outdoor porch. It had air conditioning, plus a welcome kit with toiletries, a sponge and a dishcloth. Davide, who manages the complex, was kind and helpful, and gave us tips on beaches and shops selling good local products. The sea is less than a kilometer away, and there’s outdoor parking. It’s a great quiet place to get away from the crowds. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

The apartment is compact but laid out well, and the welcome kit was enough for the first 4-5 days. It’s in a great spot, two minutes from San Foca beach and eight minutes from Torre dell'Orso. Davide was extremely kind and did his best to meet our needs.

The room was comfortable, with a kitchenette and a roomy, practical shower. The place is lovely and only a few minutes from the sea. Noise was the downside for me: the doors and windows don’t block sound, and wind could keep light sleepers awake. I also rated it 3 stars because the €10 per person linen charge wasn’t fully clear until I contacted the host. I’ve never had to pay separately for clean room linens before. Apart from that, I was happy with the stay.
