The bay is really scenic, with clear water, soft sand, and a nice free beach area where there’s plenty of room during the week. Torre dell’Orso is peaceful and relaxing on weekdays, so it’s a good time to enjoy the sea without many people around. Weekends get very crowded and can feel overwhelming. Definitely worth a visit, but go on a weekday if you want a calmer experience.
There’s a lot to see from the high rocks above the beach, and they make a great spot for photos. The sand is lovely and white, the water clear, and you can choose between the paid section and the free beach. There are a few bars, showers and changing rooms too. Parking is large, with many shaded, covered spaces, and costs 5€ a day. It does get very crowded, but it’s still okay for a day out.
The water has a fantastic color. The waves can be rough fairly often, though.
There’s plenty of room to spread out with your own umbrella and blanket for free. You can also rent loungers and an umbrella for 20 euros. The fine sand and gently sloping water make this a great beach, especially for kids.
The water is a gorgeous blue and nice and warm, but in July it gets really busy. You can pay 25 euro for two seats and an umbrella at a bar, or bring your own things and sit on the sand.
