I’m giving the one star for the apartment. It was poorly maintained, the cutlery was dirty, and the kitchen didn’t work efficiently. The village itself was wonderful, and the welcome was warm and attentive. I especially enjoyed an aperitif of bergamot and gin at the only bar, with excellent olives and a breathtaking sunset over the Ionian Sea. Not recommended.

Giusi greeted us with such warmth, a big smile, and enthusiasm, and gave us great tips on the village and what to do. Pentedattilo completely enchanted me. The village is magical, picturesque, and mysterious, tucked at the foot of the mountain. At sunset, then under the artificial lights, it looks like a tiny nativity scene, as if time had stopped. Our house was finely renovated, with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful sea view that the bedroom shared. Breakfast was generous, with excellent local biscuits. We could also eat at the only restaurant in town, Rossella's, where her cousin, a farmer, prepares excellent dishes.

The location is amazing, and the apartment was spotless and really well cared for. A fantastic experience, I recommend it to everyone!
