Getting back from town after dinner takes around 20 minutes, and the uphill walk can be tiring. But breakfast on the balcony, with that stunning view, felt like a postcard. The cosy place has a charming two-floor layout, and there’s plenty of parking. I’d love to come back!
Alessio was one of the kindest, most attentive hosts I’ve met. He shared useful details about boat times and things to see, and even offered to order breakfast from the bakery each day. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a stunning view of Lake Como. Brilliant stay and great value. I’d definitely recommend it.
Alessio was so quick to answer our WhatsApp questions, and check-in and the whole stay went smoothly. He even offered to drop off croissants in the morning, which was handy since the apartment is a bit away from the centre. There’s also a bus to the city centre once an hour, and Alessio can explain the details. I’d recommend staying here if you have a car to drive up the hill. We spent three nights here, coming back after exploring towns and villages around Como. The walk uphill is very, very steep and takes a good 30-40 minutes, but the balcony view makes it worth it. The apartment was squeaky clean, with a great bedroom and a working kitchen.
We only booked at the last minute, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. Alessio, the owner, went out of his way to welcome us. He was so kind and accommodating, unlike any owner I’d met before. The balcony view is incredible, and inside the apartment was clean and spacious, with WiFi, hot water and kitchen utensils. We had great weather, so the roughly 20-minute walk to the town centre was fine. A car could be useful in the rain, though the walk back is steep. You can also catch a bus in town that stops near the apartment. We’d thoroughly recommend this apartment for its accommodation, location and views. The only downside was having to leave so soon.
We ate here five times, for both lunch and dinner, instead of shopping and cooking. It’s casual and inexpensive, with great pizza and pasta, just as Italy is known for. From Casa Due Sorelle, the Secret Path gets you there in a five-minute walk.
