Steinach Townhouse Meran

The hosts, the property, and the food were all amazing. We had a fantastic stay that went beyond our already high expectations, and we'd definitely love to return.

Steinach Townhouse has a lovely balance of homey warmth and boutique hotel comforts. Katalin and Andrea welcomed us with real kindness and seemed to put thought into every detail. Their attentiveness made us feel more like friends than guests. We loved the breakfasts Barbara made, especially the freshly baked cakes and pastries alongside perfectly cooked eggs. It was a great start to days spent exploring Meran. The location puts you right in the heart of the city. There are pretty cobbled streets, good restaurants like Restaurant Sissi, which has had its Michelin star since 2009, and Pizzeria 357 for pizza. We also enjoyed the small coffee shops and distinctive boutiques, and the riverside promenade is lovely for a walk in any season. Meran feels both sophisticated and convenient while still holding on to a small-town, storybook charm. The townhouse fits right in, with an inviting, luxurious feel. My stay was magical, and I can't wait to return for more relaxation, exploring, or both. Bravo to Katalin, Andrea, and the whole team for making such a special place.

Barbara's warm welcome and delicious breakfast made our visit feel special. We were there with our two young children and felt at home from the very start. The hotel has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Thank you, we'd love to come back!
