This summer, for the second time, I recommended the place to friends vacationing in Salento. They were happy to unpack and put all their things in the closet. It may sound like a small thing, they said, but it made them feel at home. And it does feel that way, even though it can never really be your own home. That’s another story, though. The place is just steps from the historic center and the Villa Comunale, with easy access to the main roads. It’s also close to Salentobus stops and buses to Porto Cesareo, Torre Guaceto, Ostuni, and Apani. There’s one name I have to mention: Rossella, the owner. She’s lovely, helpful, and welcoming, and takes good care of her guests. The property is clean, details are thought through, and check-in and check-out are handled promptly. She’s a great baker, too. I hope she keeps up this level of care over the years.
