B&B Caffelletto-Papardo-Sperone

A nice place.

I stayed here while studying and had a really good time. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful. My room was clean and well equipped, with its own private bathroom. I’d recommend it.

Mrs. Nicoletta was kind, but the property didn’t live up to what many of the reviews describe. We had a small, cramped triple room and an equally tight bathroom, reached by an external staircase that wasn’t well maintained. The beds were uncomfortable and breakfast was meager. Cleanliness was the one bright spot.

I’d rented a room here twice before and both stays were fine. This third visit was awful. The lady wasn’t there when I arrived, so she left the keys in the box by the meter. Inside, the room smelled strongly of smoke, with cigarette butts in the trash, and the bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Even the soap dish had been used as an ashtray. The most embarrassing part was finding out I’d been charged the double room rate for one person, even though I’d rented that same room at the regular price on my earlier visits.
