Our host really cared about making us comfortable and having everything we needed. They even walked with us down to Bar Duomo and picked out a tasty Italian breakfast for us. Getting together when we arrived was easy thanks to the great communication. The place is close to all the sights, and we loved the evening walk up the hill to watch the sun set over the city. This was our favorite place on our trip through Italy. Such a lovely stay.

We loved the old town of messina, and B&B il galleone was just right for a city break. The historic townhouse has rooms renovated with real care and style, and Antonella was welcoming and had everything well organized. We could park overnight right outside on quiet via giacomo venezian. Breakfast came from a typical italian coffee bar beside the cathedral. Everything was perfect, thank you! G&S

After a long week traveling from Palermo, we arrived at Il Galleone in Messina and finally felt able to recharge. Antonella and Rosario made us feel so welcome, and the B&B was really clean, cozy, and nice. It was exactly what we needed before setting off toward Catania, well rested.

The building is gorgeous and the rooms were spotless, with such kind hospitality throughout. We’re in love with Sicily. Five stars feel completely deserved, and I wish there were a sixth.
