B&B SOUL Messina

The room was clean, with good Wi-Fi, minimal but acceptable furnishings, and a great bathroom. The apartment has been renovated, though the B&B itself is in an older building in a very popular neighborhood. We barely saw the host: check-in was through WhatsApp, and there was no host at breakfast or for cleaning. Breakfast was poor, just one coffee capsule per person, two packaged croissants, two individual portions of rusks and jam per room, plus small quantities of yogurt and individual milk portions in the fridge. There were only cereals as well, and no way to make a cappuccino. The room was clean, but it wasn't tidied or cleaned during the day. In the shared kitchen, the dirty dishes from the morning were still there that evening. Given the value for money, we won't return. I hope they can improve these things.

Breakfast was delicious, and the host made us feel at home with great suggestions for exploring the area. The place was modern, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Getting to the city center or the coast was easy from there. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d stay again next time I’m in Messina.

The staff were warm and courteous, and the breakfast had plenty of variety. The room was lovely and had all the comforts, with cleanliness that was hard to fault. For what you get, the value is genuinely top-notch. I’ve stayed in plenty of B&Bs, and this was one of the most beautiful. I’ll be back.

The host made us feel so welcome and shared useful ideas for places to see and eat. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, which made it easy to relax. The location worked really well too. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Messina.
