The room was convenient and the bed cozy. The building’s in good shape and not creepy at all. People calling it a “creepy old building” probably haven’t been to southern Italy or eastern Europe. My card didn’t work, and neither did the other two cards I tried, so I was able to pay the next morning since I arrived late, at 21:30. I’d stay there again.

The room itself was clean and nice, and I have no other complaints. Check-in was a bit of a pain, and the building is very old and creepy. But the bed was the main problem, by far the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept on. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

We had already prepaid through Expedia, but they charged us again in person for the stay. They assured us they’d refund the money, but they never did and now won’t answer us.

The location is excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the building is poorly maintained, and the staff were the least welcoming and pleasant I encountered during my time in Sicily.

The staff were great, and the room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect for walking to all the attractions. The only hiccup was that nobody told us the kitchen would be closed for the included breakfast. They pointed us to a nearby breakfast place, though, so all good!!
