Vmaison Hotel

We stayed two nights and found the hotel very good. The room was smaller than I'd expected, but otherwise really nice, with all the amenities at a high standard. Its location worked well for exploring the city on foot and going out to nearby fine dining. Breakfast and service were exceptional, the best we've had in Sicily.

Vmaison is right in the city centre, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and other facilities nearby. The hotel is stylish, and I loved the decor and attention to detail, especially the room, the view, and the big shower. The rooftop breakfast was really satisfying, with lots of delicious options, including fresh fruit, granita, baked goods, and fresh juices. The service was so kind and good that I hadn't expected it. Quality is top-notch. Another fun detail is that you can buy the same furniture and design pieces for your own home, since the boutique hotel doubles as a showroom. I'll come back, and I recommend it 100%.

Our transport wasn't leaving for another four hours after checkout, and they kindly let us stay a little longer. The location was great, the breakfast excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. Service was great too.

Messina didn't feel especially set up for tourists when we visited at the end of May. We struggled to find good food and drink options, and none of the beach facilities were open yet. At the hotel, though, the hosts were fantastic. The roof terrace hadn't opened for summer, but they let us have drinks on the balcony and even opened the bar just for us. The interiors and art were stunning, and every room smelled so good. The bathroom was fantastic, and there was free street parking right outside. Breakfast could use a few more choices.
