The host was fantastic, so lovely and constantly making sure we had what we needed. She came by every day with bottled water, toilet roll, butter, jams and spreads, cakes, and croissants. The towels and bedding were clean and nice. Our room had stunning sea views on one side and amazing sunsets on the other. Meta is a beautiful little town that feels very unspoilt, with few tourists, so you get a taste of real Southern Italy. It's laid back, and we came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. The beach is a five-minute walk, and the train station is about ten minutes away. From there, Naples is about an hour by train and Sorrento about ten minutes. At Sorrento station, you can catch a bus to Positano and the rest of the Amalfi coast. It's a fantastic place to stay, and the host was exceptional. 10/10. We'll 100% be back!

A brilliant base for visiting the amazing Amalfi Coast, with a strategic location and a fantastic view to wake up to every morning. The hosts are the best people I've ever met. Definitely 10 stars.

Getting around was easy from here: the Circumvesuviana made Naples and Pompeii reachable, and public transport also connected us with the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. We had a roomy, clean room with a sea view in the morning and a sunset that felt priceless. The owner was warm and helpful, and breakfast was decent. A pleasant stay all the way through.
