The train station is just a two-minute walk away, making it easy to get to Sorrento, Pompei, or Naples. Meta beach is about ten minutes downhill on foot, and the beach bus costs 1 euro going back up. 😉 We’d been to Sorrento several times before, and choosing Villa Pollio this time turned out to be a great idea. The building and interior have so much charm and character, and everything was clean. Our room was tidied daily, and they replenished the breakfast supplies and a bottle of water each day, which was especially welcome after a full day at the beach. 😀 Alfredo was extremely kind and helpful. The welcome drink, his homemade limoncello, was excellent.

The garden is gorgeous, full of flowers, lemons, oranges, and other fruit that the owner kindly offered us. He was so helpful with whatever we needed, including directions and tips for food, places to go, and transport. The kitchen has all the basics too, from coffee, tea, biscuits, and water to milk. Getting around is easy from here. The bus stop is right in front, the station is a two-minute walk away for trips to Sorrento, Napoli, the Amalfi coast, and the islands, and the beautiful beach is ten minutes on foot. The house is elegant, beautifully furnished, and very clean, with spacious rooms. I highly recommend staying here and exploring the coast from this base.

The balcony view was lovely 👍🏻, and the room looks even prettier in person than it does in the photos. It was spacious, with clean bedding, and the host was friendly. The breakfast basket really lived up to its name. There was also bottled water, milk, and juice in the fridge, and everything was replaced with fresh items each day. I'd definitely come back.

Capri, Amalfi, and Sorrento are all beautiful places to visit for a vacation, and this is a pleasant, quiet, comfortable spot to stay. The room is kept in very good condition, and you can use a small kitchenette. Breakfast is provided by the very kind Mr. Alberto. Truly beautiful, and definitely worth trying!
