Villino Castellano Apartments

Watching the summer sunset from the terrace was simply wonderful, and the owner’s hospitality deserves more than five stars. The property is within walking distance of the very convenient Meta train station, with trains to Sorrento taking about 12 minutes and also reaching Pompei. Meta’s residents have a sense of community and identity that I didn’t feel in other peninsula towns like famous Positano, Sorrento, and Amalfi. There are a few beaches and lido's, but they’re great. Nearby, Cosy Rosaria Pizzeria, bakeries, and Dèco mini-market are just steps away. The cheerful, friendly people at those places made me feel at home.

The host knows the area well and has great recommendations. The apartment is fantastic and has everything you need to enjoy your time here.

A good place for a short stay, with a kind host. It isn't very close to the main attractions, but you can manage the distance if you like walking.

We spent 10 days here in August, and the location made it easy to reach lots of attractions. It’s also close to the train station, so getting around was convenient. The owner was very helpful and suggested several places to eat and visit, all of which were truly excellent. Our apartment had two levels: the kitchen and small living room were downstairs, along with a very large shared terrace. The bedroom and bathroom were upstairs. The view from the terrace was stunning. Wi-Fi was limited and there was no air conditioning, so it got a bit hot, but otherwise everything was fine.
