Camping Village Riva dei Greci

For 11 nights my husband and I stayed in a basic but very spacious cabin, and everything worked. It was nice and cool, and we slept really well in the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The campsite is close to the sea and attractions. The owner made the holiday even better, always available on site and ready with valuable advice. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

I left just two days ago and I'm already counting down to next year. Riva Dei Greci feels like one big family, welcoming you with open arms every time and making it hard to leave. If you're new, it can feel a little disorienting at first, but you quickly get drawn into the way people welcome each other and share, even with strangers. You have unforgettable moments that are hard to find elsewhere and make real, unselfish friendships. The cicadas, the wind, and the scent of nature make the place feel like paradise. Back in 1983, the great Leonardo "Nardino" Cospite turned part of the Metaponto pine forest into this little corner of paradise, which has been our holiday spot for 42 years. The sea is stunning, and the campsite is lovely. Our little house had everything we needed and is right beside a nature reserve, with the proper fencing in place. All the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We also really enjoyed the Bar/Ristorante and its cooking. Highly recommended, along with a few visits to the beautiful nearby places, for example Bernalda and Matera.

I've been holidaying at Riva dei Greci for years, and the atmosphere is always cheerful and fun. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the owners are a real asset. They show how much they love the history of their property and region whenever they get the chance. I'll finally be back in a few days, and I can't wait to settle into the relaxing welcome that only Riva can offer.
