There’s a grocery store and a restaurant in the same building, which made things really convenient, and the place was clean with good service. It’s cheap and decent for the price. Wi-Fi costs an extra 6 euros per week, and you have to arrange it at reception, which closes early. We got back from skiing after it had closed, so it’s best to buy Wi-Fi when you check in.

Being right by a slope is great. After a full day skiing, you can practically ski back to bed. The facilities are a little dated but otherwise fine. Check-in was a bureaucratic nightmare, though, and we had to make three separate transactions just to get our key.

The slope-side location is the only reason this gets more than one star. We were five people in room 215, and it was far too small. The sofa bed was in the tiny kitchen, where we had to move the table to open it. There was no way to have the bed out and seat more than two people at the table at the same time. There was black mold all over the wall, ceiling, heater, and lower part of the room. I woke up coughing every morning. The ski lockers were too small for five people, like playing Tetris on steroids, so we started hiding snowboards under our beds. Wi-Fi was 6 euros, but even with full signal in the corridor, it disappeared as soon as we shut the room door.

A great base for skiing, just 10 steps from the nearest slope. The room was quite clean and very warm, with everything we needed. I’ll definitely come back.
