Agriturismo San Giuliano

The peaceful setting, good food, and comfortable room made for a really relaxing mini-break. Pasquale, his lovely mother, and Giacomo were all warm and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. There were horses to pet and Laika, the sweet dog, was always up for a game. It's also a handy base for Matera and the many hilltop villages nearby. We'd love to return and recharge here.

The place itself is beautiful, and the room was spacious with a spotless bathroom. We arrived without warning and were welcomed with so much kindness. Thank you very much. Mr. Lebrun

I usually save five stars for somewhere I've stayed overnight, so I'll keep one back for next time. For a first visit, four stars is already a lot from me. This is a proper agriturismo with a farm and animals, just the way I like it. Lunch was excellent, from the spectacular eggplant in oil among the appetizers, through the two first courses (they even asked if we'd like more), to the roast. The lamb was delicious. Go book a meal.

We came for the long weekend around the Immaculate Conception, looking for some time to relax in nature. Anna welcomed us warmly, treated us to her dishes and wise words, and was always kind and available to make sure we had everything we needed. Pasquale, the owner, was around despite being busy, and Giacomo made dinner with the same care and attention. A big thank you to them all. Laica kept my children entertained too. We'll be back. ❤️
