The staff were really nice, and we had a huge balcony. There’s also a parking lot behind the hotel for €15 per night. Great hotel for a good price!

We had a pleasant, affordable stay at BB Hotels Aparthotel Arcimboldi, with spacious rooms and living areas equipped with what we needed. The whole check-in and checkout process was smooth. We arrived around 11 p.m. and left at 4:30 a.m., without meeting staff in person, but everything had been arranged. Thanks to the staff for helping us get the keys outside working hours and making the early checkout easy. One problem was the main entrance. Even with our key, we couldn’t open the door because someone had locked it from inside. A colleague who’d checked in earlier let us in; otherwise, we might have been left outside in the cold. Also, one of our apartment’s two bathrooms didn’t have a lock, which was a little inconvenient. Even with those issues, I’d recommend the place for its comfort, convenience, and value.

I stayed four nights. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, the bathroom was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable. The staff were helpful with questions and assistance, including arranging an airport taxi and explaining local public transport strikes. They were available during the day on WhatsApp. The location connects easily to the city center, and there are good restaurants and grocery shops a short walk away. The heating was hard to switch off. I followed the staff’s instructions and turned off all the radiators, but the room kept getting hot. I had to leave the windows open, which meant hearing all the street noise through the night. It would also have been nice to have tea or coffee in the room to make, as many hotels provide. I think this place would be better in winter than in summer.

We booked a six-person room for two nights, from 13.12.2024.-15.12.2024, but left after just one because the room stayed cold. We reported the heating problem several times on the second day. Reception offered blankets without covers, and after I went down for the tenth time, the receptionist finally said he would call maintenance. For the rest of the day we were told the system was working fine and that we were checking at the wrong times because it was centralized. That made no sense to us since we were in the room all day, checking about every 10 minutes. When the maintenance worker arrived, he confirmed the problem and spent around two hours trying to fix it. The room got only a little warmer, so we chose not to spend another night freezing. We received an apology just once. The receptionist was unhelpful, impatient, and disrespectful. I complained to management and asked for a refund, but they refused. They said staff had done all they could to resolve a problem that did not exist, that the heating worked very well, and that the technician came when it was off and had to make changes to run checks, temporarily blocking the system before restoring it. They also said we had checked only when the fan coils were off, and insisted their staff are patient and respectful even when guests are not.
