Casa da Suite Mirabello

We booked two nights, but after missing our flight to Switzerland and losing our booking, we had to arrange a flight to Milan and book this property because we still needed to get there. Then their mistake meant we had to move apartments with three 20 kg bags and two handbags. We had paid for a superior suite but were given a standard room. Booking said they would refund us, but the property refused. I accepted that until a man from the property called, shouted at me, and threatened to report me to the police unless I withdrew the request. He said we could forget the whole thing if I did, claimed they had upgraded us, and said €60 was nothing and I was begging for a small amount. We had two guests over for two hours; there was no rule saying guests weren’t allowed, they didn’t sleep there, and we didn’t party or cause any trouble. He also threatened me on WhatsApp. I have proof of that and of the property policies. We came for a relaxing holiday, and being shouted at and threatened for no reason scared me that I’d get into trouble with the Milan police. A horrible host and customer service.

The suite was decorated really nicely, and the staff were super helpful and kind. It works well for a group of friends hanging out, and families too, since it has cooking utensils and cutlery if you need them.

The apartment feels cozy, and the reception guys were welcoming, quick to respond, and helpful. It’s only a few minutes from Istria metro, with plenty of supermarkets nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve met, and the apartment had everything I needed, including a balcony. It’s a very nice hotel near the central station. Definitely my best stay in Milan!
