Collini Rooms

It’s a clean, nice hotel, and having its own parking is a plus. The decor, with its +18 paintings and furniture style, means I wouldn’t recommend it for families or couples. It’s also a typical European four-star hotel that lacks a lot of the facilities you’d find in other parts of the world.

The rooms were okay, but the welcome at reception was unprofessional and the customer service was lacking. My stay wasn’t what I expected, and service really should be a priority.

The rooms are huge and fancy, and every one has its own look. The hallways have statues of comic characters or other famous figures. We were on the fourth floor, where Batman stood right by the elevator. Breakfast was tasty, with a good range of food and drinks, including coffee, and the dining room is hard to describe, but really unusual and special. The hotel itself is full of things that feel out of the ordinary. Its location is the one drawback: handy for a quick airport layover, but a bit far from central Milan if you’re sightseeing. There’s a tram every 10 minutes, and it takes around half an hour to reach the duomo. I’d recommend a visit.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, though there’s a tram stop right outside and one tram takes you to the most popular sights. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day. Breakfast was really nice, with fresh food and staff who kept topping things up as they ran low. There were sweet and savory choices, and the view was amazing. Highly recommend!
