Vicenzo was so kind and welcoming, and the service was spectacular. The hotel and the area felt lovely and rather safe, and the rooms and beds were very clean. I highly recommend it. There’s also a buffet for a very reasonable five euros per person, with delicious, fresh food.

There’s a front desk open 24 hours, which is great if you arrive late at night. The rooms have pretty much what you need, though the place is a bit old. I’d avoid it if you’re sensitive to noise or have trouble falling asleep, since you can hear cars going by outside. The location isn’t the best for getting there either: from Duomo Di Milano, there’s only one tram line to reach the hotel.

When my flight was cancelled during a storm in July 2023, I panicked and booked this hotel because I urgently needed somewhere to stay. It was late, so I called to say I was on my way. The receptionist told me my reservation was for the next day, and I was upset and distressed. Vincenzo said to come anyway and that he’d find a solution, even though the hotel was fully booked. When I arrived, he was very helpful and found me a clean, suitable room in the attic. I’m very grateful for his help. The hotel is basic but clean, close to shops and a tram stop, and easy to reach from the main town of Duomo.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and our room was clean and simple, with everything we needed. We had a nice stay and thought it was great value for money. In the morning, you can have a coffee on the terrace. Public transport is nearby, especially the tram just next door, and Lampugnano bus station is about a 20-minute walk away. There’s a grocery shop a few minutes away on foot, plus bars and places to eat on the same street or within walking distance.
