Hotel Milano Palmanova

The welcome from the staff was generally polite and professional, but the rest of the stay didn’t live up to a four-star rating. The rooms have old furnishings, and the bathroom seems neglected, with several details in poor repair. Breakfast was disappointing too, with little variety and poor quality. The service was decent, but the hotel needs significant improvements to match its stated standard.

Never again. The rooms are small and ugly, there’s no hot water, and the service is bad. Breakfast was almost nonexistent. The hotel is falling apart. Terrible place.

The hotel is outside downtown Milano, but right beside the M2 metro station. The room was in bad shape: the curtain wouldn’t close all the way, the TV didn’t work properly, and the shower had weak pressure. I won’t come back.

The location worked well for us, with the station nearby and central Milan about 25 minutes away by metro. For roughly €150 per person for three nights, we weren’t expecting luxury, and the room was functional, if only just okay. The service was great when we were first given the wrong room. They changed it promptly. Inside, though, the air conditioning wasn’t great, the bathrooms were mediocre, the toilet lid was poor, the shower disappointing, and some cupboards were broken. Room service wasn’t much better: they replaced a few towels but only straightened the beds instead of changing the bedding. We weren’t too bothered given what we paid, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
