Hotel Raffaello

We stayed in December, and the bed was huge! The staff were wonderful, from reception to the bar attendant and the maids. The breakfast was high quality and there was enough of it. The room was spotless and had plenty of heat, around 23 degrees. It’s an older hotel, but renovated and well kept. It’s outside the center, though tram 1 gets you there quickly and connections are excellent. It exceeded our expectations. It deserves much better reviews!

Trams 1 and 14 stop nearby, so getting into Milan’s city centre and exploring was easy. Hotel Rafaello felt welcoming and calm, and the staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. My daughter and I found our room very clean and felt comfortable throughout the visit. I had an excellent stay at Hotel Rafaello and would highly recommend it for the service, cleanliness, and convenient transport links.

The 14 tram stops right outside, and there’s a supermarket around the corner. A park is about half a mile away. It’s a bit of a trip to the centre, but we really liked staying here. The inside is immaculately clean, and it’s lovely and really good value. The outside looks a little dated, which might put some people off.

We paid 270 Euro, though the room was listed for less than 150 Euro at the time, and it was much cheaper on their website. We were told there was only one room left and we could take it or leave it. It was late, we were lost, and had nowhere else to stay. They even changed the website prices. For that much money, we assumed food was included with the one-bed room. When I asked, they said food service would cost even more. They were rude, and the whole thing felt disgusting. I truly hope they go through the same discomfort and robbery they put us through. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.
