Hotel Idea Hotel Milano San Siro

Eva at reception deserves a special thank you. She was kind, efficient and professional, and I really appreciated her service. The hotel was convenient for us, with lots of space for buses and very close to San Siro stadium. Still, it wasn’t the best overall. The towels and sheets smelled unpleasant, and the breakfast quality was poor.

The facilities felt dated and poorly maintained, and the hotel standard was disappointing. The online photos seemed out of date and didn’t show the property's current condition. In my opinion, the accommodation was very basic, around one star, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a pleasant holiday. When I arrived, I asked for a refund so I could move to another hotel for the night, but it wasn’t granted. This is my honest experience, and I’d advise anyone considering Idea Hotel Milano San Siro to be cautious.

The place was so cold, with no heating, and I had my 7-month-old baby with me. My husband and I couldn’t sleep because we were worried the baby would get sick. Sadly, my baby did get sick after our stay. We checked out as soon as we could because we couldn’t bear to stay another minute. The room smelled awful, like mold and something rotten, and it all looked dirty and neglected. The bathroom was filthy, the sheets didn’t seem washed, and the air felt heavy with the smell. I felt nauseous the whole time. There was shouting, doors slamming and loud music all night, so resting was impossible. The staff were disrespectful and unhelpful when we complained. From the moment we walked in, I regretted booking this hotel. I honestly think it should be shut down. It’s the dirtiest, coldest and most unpleasant hotel I’ve ever seen. If you care about your health, sleep or sanity, DO NOT stay here.

We stayed at the beginning of May. The rooms were spacious, bright, neat and clean, and the toilet was clean too. The staff were pleasant. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi connection was weak.
